Be Nice AND Important!

It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

Do you believe that?

My guess is that the word "important" is one that could be picked apart quite a bit.

Nice is simple, easy to understand, and apply.

Important? Not so much.

What does that even mean; to be important?

How much does status weigh anyway?

Perhaps this is not an either/or proposition.

Could it be the nicer you are, the more important you become?

Success is not significant until it changes the lives of people around you.

Maybe we should focus on things of value like kindness, compassion, and care.

Our importance, then, will take on an entirely different meaning.

And that will truly be nice. :)

What are your thoughts?
