Why Worry?

Why should you worry?

Answer: You shouldn't.

Worry is borrowing trouble from a day or moment that hasn't happened yet.

It's both unhelpful and unhealthy.

So why do we do it?

It helps us feel we're controlling something when that's totally not the case.

It's like sitting in a rocking chair. It expends energy, but you go nowhere.

We are not born worriers. It's learned behavior.

That means it can be unlearned.

Worrying takes practice and a lot of people are really good at it.

Doesn't that mean we can get good at NOT worrying?

What are your thoughts on this?
