What Will You Remember About 2021?

Today is the last day of the year. (Thankfully)

Not only is today the last day of the year, but the last day of a year like none other, obviously.

How can 2020 even be described?

No doubt many adjectives come to mind when you think about how this year unfolded. Or maybe a better term is crashed into our windshield!

It would be easy to focus a lot on the upheaval that the circumstances of 2020 caused.

But what, about 2020, will be brighter memories?

What lessons did you learn, in extreme moments, that have fortified you for whatever may be in 2021?

Who will you remember, that were heroes, and stars that really shined during the bleakness and truly saved the day?

What did you discover about yourself that you didn’t know before?

What sense of resilience was revealed and strengthened?

What creative wellspring were you able to access to allow you to pivot your resources and services?

Clearly 2020 was a year no one could have predicted, and no reasonable person would wish on another. But remembering ALL that it gave can be useful in facing 2021 with the kind of confidence and resolve that will cause us to thrive, and not just survive, this dawning 2021.

So bring it on!

What will you most remember about 2020 and the lessons it taught?
